The Novato Harvest Festival is an annual street festival hosted by Trek Winery in Downtown Novato that showcases locally crafted wine, beer, and food along with live music, our annual grape stomp competition, and more!
Novato Harvest Festival takes place every year on a Saturday in the month of September or October. This year, it is on Saturday, September 30th from 1-5pm.
Novato Harvest Festival is held on Machin Ave. between Sweetser and Vallejo Ave. in Downtown Novato. The address is 1026 Machin Ave, where Trek Winery and Pods Brews are located.
The $20 general admission fee buys a commemorative wine or beer glass along with 4 tasting tickets (4 tasting tickets may be redeemed for one full wine glass or pint of beer).
The $10 designated driver / 18-21 year old admission gets a commemorative soda mug along with 4 soda tasting tickets for craft soda (4 tasting tickets = one full mug).
Under 18 admission is free.
The annual Grape Stomp Competition consists of teams of two people, one stomper and one scooper. The stomper crushes as much of the grapes as possible within the specified time, while the scooper does their best to encourage the juice to empty into a collection pail through a drain at the bottom of the barrel. The team with the most juice in the pail at the end wins. The winning team receives a free coveted Grape Stomp T-shirt upon which they can imprint their own grape juice footprints!!
Sign-ups begin at 1pm on the day of the festival and are first-come first-served. All participants must sign a waiver.
Trek Winery tasting room will be closed on the day of the festival. All wine and food will be available outside In the Harvest Festival
Both Trek Winery and Pods Brews will be closed after the festival ends at 5pm.
Both are welcome! And free!! Dogs must be leashed at all times for everyone's safety.
Under 18 years old admission is free! With our grape stomp, craft sodas, carnival doughnuts, Wicked Slush, pumpkins and more the festival is fun for the whole family!
No. No outside food or beverages will be allowed in the Festival. Plenty of local wine and beers will be available along with food trucks and craft sodas.
